} Dangerous Minds occurs as 1995 film that tells the story of the out Marine who leaves her career to become an English teacher at an inner-city high school. Synopsis
Once out Marine Louanne Johnson (Michelle Pfeiffer) arrives at an inner-city highschool within East Palo Alto, California, she finds a class of hard, street-caring children, exposed around gangs & doses, whom Johnson quickly dubs a "rejects from hell." Her at first meek demeanor, little stature & whiten skin earn her a nickname "white bread" from her students. Determined to keep close at h& the children trust and respect her, she quickly changes her presentation, wearing leather jackets, teaching karate to her students and cursing in the classroom. Creating her have curriculum for her "socially challenged" but otherwise highly brightly class, she starts with the two review college-level texts, uses Bob Dylan lyrics to teach poetry and rewarding them by having trips to amusement parks.

Across two her & a class's dedication, she teaches the two non single to respect education for its have worth, however sir thomas more importantly to respect & suppose inside themselves.
